From founders to founders.

Our community is handcrafted from day one. We are passionate, curious, driven, kind, playful, and we value meaningful connections. Connections that transform people and opportunities. People that inspire and support each other. Opportunities that are created from synergy.

LIFT99 was founded in 2016, but our story began much earlier when Estonia's first startup workspace Garage48 HUB was co-founded by Ragnar Sass. HUB closing down in 2016 sparked new ideas of creating an international network of A+ founders who benefit from building meaningful connections. That's how LIFT99 was born.

Atomico @ LIFT99
We're always excited to hear the inspirational stories from Skype co-founders Ahti Heinla, Jaan Tallinn and Niklas Zennström and learn how Sten Tamkivi is building Teleport. It was a vibrant evening of ideas and insights with this A+ crowd. Thank you Atomico for hosting it. Till next time!

Grand opening party of LIFT99
A real #EstonianMafia needs a rocking opening party. It was so much fun and we enjoyed every minute of it. Stay tuned for the next one (Hint: another opening party takes place already in 2018)!

LIFT99 moved to Telliskivi Creative City
LIFT99 moved to the hippest area in Tallinn on a temporary space until the construction of LIFT99 HQ was completed.

May 2016

Garage48 HUB closed down
LIFT99 grew out from Garage48 HUB, which was the first startup co-working space in Estonia and a home for the Garage48 hackathon staff. Like LIFT99, HUB hosted many memorable events and was the go-to place for an Estonian tech community.

March 2016

LIFT99 was founded
LIFT99 application was electronically submitted by founder Ragnar Sass into the business registry and the team went to see our new flagship location for the first time. A lot of construction work was waiting ahead.
