Community and Events Manager

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Community and Events Manager!

This role is a unique blend of community building, event management, and marketing, perfect for someone who thrives in a vibrant and ever-evolving startup environment.

A self-driven individual who is passionate about the startup ecosystem and excited to foster connections and create memorable experiences for our bustling community and a drive to spark change in the startup world and love to see ideas come to life - did you recognize yourself in you’ll fit right in!

What you’ll do

  • Onboard & grow the community. Welcome new members, map their goals, and build programs that support both personal and professional growth.

  • Own the events calendar. Design, plan, and deliver events—from intimate founder breakfasts to large community meetups—on time and on budget.

  • Connect people & opportunities. Proactively introduce members to each other, partners, and the wider ecosystem in Tallinn and Ukraine.

  • Run our socials & light marketing. Create engaging posts, stories, and recaps; promote upcoming events; highlight member wins.

  • Build partner relationships. Keep friendly, consistent contact with sponsors and collaborators—from ice-cream deals to conference partnerships.

  • Shepherd flagship moments. Help produce the Estonian Startup Awards, ensuring every year feels fresher, tighter, and more founder-centric.

You’ll thrive in this role if you

  • Are genuinely curious about startups and the Estonian tech scene—and keep up with what’s new globally.

  • Communicate clearly and confidently in Estonian and English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.

  • Are a collaborative teammate who can also drive projects independently.

  • Enjoy being around people—approachable, organized, and calm under event pressure.

  • Have solid digital literacy: social platforms, basic photo/video editing, and comfort with common productivity tools.
