LIFT99 Hubs open on May 11

Tallinn and Kyiv Hubs are opening their doors again on May 11!

Our Kyiv Hub manager Mariia says hi!

No more working from your bed, no more construction noises from your neighbor, no more instant coffee. We’re back to comfortable chairs, mugs with cool phrases, inspiring work environment, and friendly faces (in masks)!

As the safety of our members always comes first, we decided to close our hubs almost two months ago. We didn’t know what threats COVID-19 could bring, but we knew for sure: we couldn’t put our members at risk.

We took this time to study and prepare for Hub 2.0. — safe and secure space for our team and members. At the end of April, we opened Tallinn Red Hub for two teams. Within the three weeks, we tested out new approaches for operating the hubs, reshaped safety guidance, use of space, and the means of how we can support the members and their businesses. We are ready to have members back!

LIFT99 vs COVID-19

We moved the tables, chairs, and sofas #girlpower

  • Now, every person in the Hub is granted, on average, a 3-meter space for themselves.

  • The minimum distance between the desks in open spaces is 1.5 meters

  • Seats at the kitchen tables are limited to ensure social distancing. Quality talks are limitless.

  • We have hired a snack robot, a.k.a the vending machine, to keep it tasty and safe.

  • We also got hula hoops to celebrate social distancing.

Guests, visitors, events

  • Guests, visitors, and other muggles... are allowed with some limitations. Talk to our Hub Managers to do their magic and make it happen!

  • We have suspended offline events for an unknown time. In fact, we have changed our event area in Kyiv into a no-noise flex space already. In Tallinn, the event area is being transformed into a chill-museum… of Apple!

Sanitizing is the new black

  • We’ve put sanitizers all over the place so everyone in the building can keep their hands, belongings and workspaces germ-free (and collect karma-points by doing it).

Preventive measures:

  • For all Hubs members, we will provide COVID-19 health daily questionnaire by Heba. It will help us be one step ahead of potential thread and react immediately. Let’s take care and questionnaire every day.

  • We always have some amount of facial masks and rubber gloves to back up those who lost or forgot their own. You can always find thermometers in our first-aid kits.

We will do more of what is needed. And while we can provide a platform and tools for it, you are the one to use them. Your safety depends on you in the first place.

In case you decide to stay at home, we will fully support you. You will even be able to stay in touch with our community — through our LIFT99 Online Community

But if you wanna go back to real people, to real coffee, and to the real work-it vibe, we’re open! And we can’t wait to see you again! Join us as a LIFT99 Tallinn Hub member, LIFT99 Tallinn Team space member, or LIFT99 Kyiv Hub member.

See you on Monday!
